Happy Weekend....

Yay for Friday!!

I hope you all had a good week, mine wasn't great as my son became very ill with a swollen neck. After numerous trips to the doctor and blood tests at the hospital he was diagnosed with glandular fever!

I am just hoping he will recover in time for his college exams as he really is feeling quite ill with it at the moment!

The weather was also appalling so I am hoping the weekend will see an improvement! I am going to a communion tomorrow and there is a garden party afterwards so we need some sun!

I am planning on wearing white cropped trousers with a short sleeved knit but may have to change this outfit depending on the weather!

I did pick up a cute cheery print in my local Heatons whilst out and about earlier and it looks so nice and colourful in my kitchen.

Sometimes it really is the little things that bring the most pleasure!

Wishing you all a good weekend ahead:)

Take Care:)
Anne xx

  11. Oh Anne, that is so, so, common with teenagers, and it always seems to co-inside with their exams! It's so sad when there is so much pressure on them, that they get these things? But he will be fine, and you sound like one a fab Mum! xxx

  14. Hi Anne,

Sorry to hear that your Son has been unwell - I had that when I was back in College and the best thing you can do is try and get lots of sleep and rest. Do hope he recovers quickly.
Enjoy your weekend and hope the weather is lovely so you can wear the outfit you have chosen.

  17. Oh Anne your poor son I had glandular fever a number of years ago and you are so wrecked and your immune system is weakened. Elderberry capsules (solgar) available in good health food shops I buy mine in nourish . They are great for helping your immune system. He will need to take them for 30 days to see the real effects but they do work. Google them to get more information. I hope he feels better for his exams. Have a good week.
