Party Style Inspiration:Black and Gold.....

The festive party nights out are already in full swing but deciding what to wear can be a nightmare especially if it involves rushing out the door after a busy workday.
I think for pure elegance and class you can't beat a black and gold ensemble which can be dressed up with as much bling as you like.
Here are a few favourite looks of mine....

A gold chain belt adds subtle detail here....

or this wider gold belt adds a  great finish to this black outfit....

A gold clutch and cuff  always looks classy.....

A statement bag and watch adds a bit of bling to the all black outfit....

Love these sequin pants with heels and black tuxedo jacket.....

a gorgeous statement  dress needs minimal accessories .....

There is definitely something very decadent about black and gold, especially at this time of year and it is the perfect style for those special nights out!

  5. I'm in total agreement with how beautiful and elegant a simple all black outfit with a bit of gold can be. I especially love photos 1 & 2.

  7. I'd wear all the looks you picked, Anne. Olivia Palermo is my style icon anyway.
We'll have our formal Christmas Dinner this weekend, followed by a Christmas Party next week!
