Style Inspiration: Casual Knitwear...

Hi everyone !
Today by popular demand I'm doing a post about styling
casual knitwear!
My blog post here on Friday proved to be my most popular one yet and due to a large amount of inquiries about my camel cocoon cardigan I have designed a mood board to recreate the outfit using similar pieces :)
I bought my own cardigan on a weekend trip to Edinburgh last year.

Jeans/Mango    Bag/DKNY   Cardigan/Miss Selfridge   Top/Mango   Boots/Topshop   Scarf/Oasis

I find this type of knitwear so easy to wear and style and I am on the lookout for some thing similar in black or grey  this A/W. Here are a few more lovely styles ...

Gorgeous cable knit slouchy from Zara

A cerise marled number from H&M

A fab cable knit polo neck poncho from The White Company

I hope this gives some inspiration for those who asked and as always I'm delighted to receive such great feedback from my followers :)

The only problem with wearing such cosy slouchy knitwear is that you're in danger of never wanting to take them off :)

  2. I love that DKNY bag.. still looking for a new one. Seems all my choices are very expensive ones so I might need to wait for a sale. The cable knits are perfect for winters here. I know what you mean about not wanting to take it off :)

  4. Great knitwear suggestions and I love everything on the mood board - just my kind of day outfit. In fact, I'm wearing a camel cardigan, animal print scarf and tan bag today (but I still haven't found the perfectly fitting boots!) Your cocoon cardigan is lovely - no wonder it was so popular.

  8. Nothing here that I do not like, problem is where to find it in rural France, and how far my little pension would go! A cat can look at a queen :-) Take care Diane

  11. Nice choices. I'm trying to find the perfect knit, that's not too chunky but chunky enough, and the right length to cover the rear and make it appropriate to wear with leggings.
