Some Coat Love and Boot update....

One thing I definitely do not need in my wardrobe this A/W is another black coat! Whilst doing a little switch up the other day I found three styles one I completely forgot that I owned and the other two I wear occassionally during the winter months. I'm definitely more casual jacket and jeans type during the week but on close inspection of new coat styles I may be tempted to purchase one before Christmas! For a little inspiration I came up with these three totally different styles but love each in their own way:)

Pink Cocoon/Reiss    Camel Shawl /Ralph lauren    Cromby tweed/Marc Jacobs

These are all expensive coats but great inspiration for seeking out more affordable similar styles on the high street! Karen Millen and Oasis have some fabulous coats at the moment:)

Now to my boot update. Bad news didn't get tall boots in black that I wanted. After trying on various styles I decided with help from my mother and lovely shop assistants that I would would be far better buying tan long and going for short black ankle boots for skirts and dresses instead!

So I am back on the hunt with a few options in mind now that I have narrowed down my choices. Here is the main contender at the moment I spotted in my local boutique.

And so much for my non impulsive buying but these two came home with me from Dunnes the other day but they will be great for daily wear with jeans and skirts!

Chestnut suede lace ups and black strap ankle booties.

Hope you all have a lovely day:)
Anne xx

  4. Love those Tan long boots. I got some similar ones from R and B last year and I love them. Trouble is I keep picking up the odd pair of ankle boots too - my collection is ever expanding. Glad to see you do the same! X

  9. I love boots but I am not really mad about buying lots of shoes. I have a few specials that have kept me going over a number of years which are comfy so I do not change them too often. Keep well Diane

  11. Great choices Anne. The tall boots are perfect.. I have the Frye riding boots and those remind me of them. I wear them all the time. I'm looking for ankle boots too, and the suede pair you've picked are perfect! I like the wider, detailed top.

  20. I love the Ralph Lauren coat, so classic. I have to say a coat is the one thing I never skimp on, when they're dry cleaned and properly looked after a good coat will last years. Love your boot purchases too, it is definitely the year of the ankle boot.

  21. Go for them Anne, they're awesome! I have a similar pair myself and I have literally worn them out! They are classic though spicy. And great compulsive purchases dear!! Regarding the coats, I think the camel shawl would flatter your figure and would go awesomely with your up and coming booties. On the other hand if I had to purchase a coat right now, I would choose a pastel shade, like pink or light blue.love love Coco
