Happy Weekend....

The week has absolutely flown by again! I think it had something to do with being on holiday for a few days. You end up chasing your tail trying to catch up when you come back. This weekend is just going to be about relaxing and I have finally brought down my box of Halloween decorations so I may get the house decorated a little bit .The most I have done so far is spray a few pumpkins and fruit shapes gold !!

My Golden Pumpkin!

I must get a black tin of spray now and add a few more bits and pieces to add to my display. Also while my mum  is here we are doing an extra bit of baking, so I will freeze some  pies and tarts which will come in useful for the busy months ahead!

Apple Tart...

Cottage Pie....

Finally if the weather stays the way it is now (perfect for Autumn walks) we will get out and about and maybe collect some bits to help with my decorating!

I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!:)

  1. Sounds like the perfect weekend!!! I love baking pies!! You just gave me an idea for making a pumpkin one!!

  2. You did a great job with that pumpkin and those pears! I see a lot of yummy food also!

  3. I am always afraid to freeze they come out ok? But it is a clever idea with the business ahead....

Enjoy your weekend Anne, your golden pumpkin is gorgeous!

  4. Hi Eleanor! I freeze them uncooked and then just bake in the oven as usual when needed:)

  16. THanks for stopping by my blog Anne! I love your metallic pumpkins and hope you have a lovely weekend as well!

    My best,

  17. Anne, that's what I'm going to do next year! Spray paint all of my pumpkins. They have glitter spray too which comes out really good! Very sparkly and pretty. I don't blame you for making pies while it's still rather calm. That's very smart. I love walks (when the weather is nice). I need to revisit that again. Have an awesome one and I want to thank you for all of your lovely comments on my blog. I always appreciate them. ((HUG))

  18. Such gorgeous photos Anne! And your weekend sounds divine - I'm not doing much of anything myself this weekend but hopefully will get out for a walk in this beautiful Spring weather - love the idea of your pumpkin and fruit decorating by the way :)

I wasn't away and I'm still chasing mine!

Your baking looks great and that cottage pie is just the thing for this horrible weather.

I'm busy trying to clean the house today as there seems to be clothes everywhere - thanks to
my lovely children, so not much relaxing today.

I hope that you have a lovely restful weekend.
